Our Grove Kids Program aims to provide an environment that enhances biblical education and spiritual growth in Bible classes. To achieve this, the program focuses on teaching children biblical principles and fostering their relationship with God in the following rooms.
- Oakwood Kitchen is a classroom that uses cooking and eating to make Bible stories come alive.
- Divine Oak is an art room that uses the power of art to engage children and help them understand and connect with their faith in a creative and meaningful way.
- Oakland Arkade uses interactive activities and games to share the Gospel and guide children in their spiritual growth.
- Majestic Oak brings the stories and historical significance of the Bible to life with engaging lessons and activities.
- Oakwood Cafe uses cooking to build relationships and reinforce life lessons.
- The Grand Oak Theater recognizes the power of video in capturing attention and making lessons more memorable, especially for today’s visually focused youth.

Nursery
Lone Oak Church provides an attended nursery service for children birth to age 35 months during worship service in the Nursery. There is also a training room available at the rear of the auditorium (on the east side) where parents may take their babies if they wish.
Bible Hour
Children’s Worship is dismissed after the Lord’s Supper during service. It is a time of age-appropriate worship for ages 3 -9 including singing, prayer, and a short devotional.
Bible Classes
Our Grove Kids’ Curriculum is an interactive and modern approach to teaching children the gospel in a way that is fun, educational, and memorable. With a strong focus on relationships, this curriculum is a tool to help children “grow” with each other and with God.
Bible Classes
As a continuation of our Our Sunday Curriculum, this program offers a deeper dive into the lessons and relationships. It’s another chance for kids to engage with our interactive and modern approach to learning the gospel, ensuring they have consistent, fun, and memorable ways to “grow” with each other and with God throughout the week.
Special Activities
We also have monthly activities and field trips to grow as a family, like Trunk-N-Treat, VBS, Christmas Plays, and Hayrides.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Each summer, we have a different theme. Our kids love VBS! VBS is a Sunday through Wednesday. We serve a meal each night, starting at 5:00 pm, then VBS goes from 6:30-8:30.
Trunk-N-Treat
At the end of October, “kids” of all ages wear costumes and get treats.
Hayrides
When the weather begins to cool, we love hayrides!
The Great Outdoors
We love enjoying God’s beautiful creation together.
