This beautiful church has been there for my family in so many ways that I can’t even fathom. The Sermons on Sunday and Bible studies on Wednesday are articulately said and are not only “good” but they make it where we can all connect the lesson to our lives and get the big picture. I feel a closer connection to God because of this place and that’s something that’s very important in a church. Oh and the best thing is they absolutely love children. Thank you to this Church and most importantly GOD! 🥹🙏

What’s Happening
Marriage Class
We are excited to announce that beginning in September, Lone Oak will be offering a Marriage Class on Wednesday evenings for all married couples. Whether you are newly married or have been together for many years, this class is designed to strengthen and enrich your relationship.
We especially encourage couples who have many years of marriage experience to join us and share their wisdom and encouragement with younger couples.The class is developed by the Marriage Dynamics Institute. The class is based on the book
“ His Needs, Her Needs“, along with other valuable marriage resources.
Cost: $55 per couple

Host AIMers
October 10 -14 A sign-up sheet for host families is on the Fellowship Hall Bulletin Board. We still need housing for two boys. If you would like to come and spend time with them, an AIM week schedule is at the Welcome Center.

College Care Packages
We will assemble care packages on Wednesday, October 28 at the Welcome Center. Please bring items to pack the care packages with. For example, individually wrapped cookies, candy, chocolate, microwave popcorn, tissues, cocoa mix, individual drink mix packets, etc. There will be a box in the foyer to collect donations.

Trunk N Treat
October 31, 6:00 – 7:00 pm There is a box in the foyer to collect supplemental candy for everyone who participates in decorating a trunk. We will have the chili cook-off. Please have chili here by 4:00 or sooner. We will serve chili for workers at 5:00.
